RF MICRO-NEEDLING

SERVING THE WASHINGTON & ST. GEORGE, UT AREA

TIGHTEN YOUR SKIN AND REDUCE FINE LINES, WRINKLES AND SCARRING WITH MORE DRAMATIC RESULTS.

Although we presently offer traditional Micro-Needling at Riverside Medical Arts, we now have a more intense method of Micro-Needling that incorporates radio frequency (RF) energy to the technique. RF Micro-Needling is only performed by our Master Estheticians. They are experienced, skilled and highly trained cosmetic specialists who can help you rejuvenate your face without surgery!

WHAT IS RF MICRO-NEEDLING?

Micro-Needling with RF energy is delivered into your skin via ultrafine needles. Radio frequency energy enters deep into the dermis further enhancing skin tightening and scar reduction. The radio frequency energy heats the underlying layers of skin which causes the tissue to constrict and tighten.  This added RF energy also stimulates the production of collagen and elastin. We have also found that because the RF energy is delivered so deeply into the skin, it can produce faster, more dramatic results.

WHO CAN BENEFIT FROM RF MICRO-NEEDLING TREATMENTS?

RF Micro-Needling can be utilized on nearly any skin type or tone. It is safe for treatments on the face and body.  A Riverside Medical Arts Master Esthetician can advise both men and women if they are a good candidate for facial rejuvenation with RF Micro-Needling treatments.

WHAT ARE THE BENEFITS OF RF MICRO-NEEDLING?

RF Micro-Needling addresses the following conditions:

  • Fine lines
  • Facial wrinkles
  • Acne scarring
  • Enlarged visible pores
  • Scarring from chicken pox or trauma
  • Mild to moderate skin laxity (sagging skin) on face, neck, and chest
  • Uneven skin texture (rough or leathery skin)
  • Uneven skin tone
  • Stretch marks

Typically, and depending on the condition being treated and your facial rejuvenation goals, 3-6 treatments are required to achieve results.*

RF MICRO-NEEDLING AND PLATELET RICH PLASMA (PRP)

PRP combined with RF Micro-Needling further enhances the results of both procedures.  The PRP process takes a small amount of your blood which is then placed in a centrifuge to separate the various components in your blood. The red and white blood cells are divided and plasma cells are isolated producing platelet rich plasma (PRP).

Once the RF Micro-Needling procedure is done, this enriched plasma is injected back into the targeted areas. Your body naturally releases growth healing proteins, which promotes collagen to naturally smooth out your skin. Because of this promotion of your body’s collagen, your body’s tissue is regenerated and a smoother, more firm skin texture is achieved.

RF Micro-Needling and PRP work together to:

  • Tighten and lift skin
  • Treat wrinkles, large pores and stretch marks
  • Improve acne scarring

Schedule your consultation with a Riverside Medical Arts Master Esthetician to see if RF Micro-Needling with PRP is right for you.

WHEN CAN YOU SEE RESULTS FROM RF MICRO-NEEDLING TREATMENTS?

During your personalized consultation, our professionals at Riverside Medical Arts will be able to determine the number of treatments that will be recommended for you.  This can depend on how well the patient responds to the initial treatment and the severity of the skin issues being treated.  Some maintenance treatments may be advised in the future.

The treated skin may show some mild redness for the first day or two following the procedure. There is little, if any, discomfort after treatment and usually patients can resume normal activities within one day.*
