The facial rejuvenation specialists at Riverside Medical Arts offer the most advanced Restylane® products. These Restylane® products are used by men and women to address the aging areas of the face by:
- Adding volume and fullness to facial skin
- Adding definition and restoring facial contours to the jawline
- Correcting facial lines, moderate-to-severe wrinkles, and folds
Patients can expect improvements in the look of smile and lipstick lines and reduce the wrinkles around the eyes (crow’s feet). The facial aesthetic specialists at Riverside Medical Arts can help you decide what product will help you achieve your anti-aging facial goals.
What is Restylane® and how does it work to rejuvenate the face?
Restylane® works immediately by adding volume to smooth away wrinkles. A clear gel formulation of hyaluronic acid, Restylane® is specifically formulated to act like your body’s own hyaluronic acid, and eventually breaks down naturally. The Restylane® family of products may be used in various parts of the face, including the forehead, around the eyes, cheeks, jawline, chin and lips.
What side effects can you expect from Restylane® products?
Restylane® is skillfully injected by our certified injectors through a small, micro-needle and placed under the skin in the areas of the face that have been identified for rejuvenation. With Restylane® injections there is no downtime. Restylane® products add volume, and over time they continue to stimulate your skin’s natural production of hyaluronic acid.
After treatment, you might have some swelling, redness, pain, bruising, or tenderness. These are typically mild in severity and normally last less than 7 days in nasolabial folds and less than 14-18 days in lips.*
What is Restylane® Defyne™?
Restylane® Defyne™ is the next generation of facial filler products. Restylane® Defyne™ uses a specific formula of hyaluronic acid made with XpresHAn Technology™. This unique technology cross-links the gel to help support your natural facial expressions. Restylane® Defyne™ clinical trials demonstrate that they are the only fillers on the market to help maintain natural movement and expression.1/sup>
Restylane® Defyne™ is FDA-approved and is a safe and effective dermal filler used by the Riverside Medical Arts expert injectors to correct deep wrinkles and nasolabial folds, often referred to as the parentheses that range from your nose to the corners your mouth.
What is Restylane® Lyft?
Restylane® Lyft, formerly known as Perlane-L®, is FDA-approved for deep creases and folds in the cheeks and correction of age-related midface contour deficiencies in patients over the age of 21. Restylane® Lyft is precisely injected into the skin with an ultrafine needle.
It is a safe and effective dermal filler often used for:
- The nasolabial folds, sometimes referred to as the parentheses that range from your nose to the corners your mouth
- Cheek augmentation
Patients can expect to see an immediate improvement in the facial areas treated with Restylane® Lyft. Minimal bruising may occur and you should be able to return to work and resume normal daily activities directly after your procedure.*
What is Restylane® Refyne?
Restylane® Refyne is one of the newer facial fillers that also uses a specific formula of hyaluronic acid made with XpresHAn Technology™ This technology cross-links the gel to help support your natural facial expressions. Restylane® Refyne is FDA-approved for the treatment of moderate to severe facial wrinkles and folds. These advanced, next generation fillers are specially designed to smooth out facial wrinkles and plump up deep creases while maintaining facial movement and expression. 1
At Riverside Medical Arts, our aesthetic physicians use the aforementioned Restylane® products to non-surgically renew and rejuvenate your facial appearance. These products effectively correct moderate to severe wrinkles and folds on your laugh lines (nasolabial folds running from your nose to the corners of your mouth) and on your face from the corners of your mouth to jawline.
