Juvéderm Vollure™ XC is the latest advancement in dermal fillers designed to correct moderate to severe facial wrinkles and folds, referred to as nasolabial folds. This newest advancement in the Juvéderm® collection of facial injectables is FDA-approved to correct nasolabial folds for up to 18 months. Allergan, the pharmaceutical company that manufactures Juvéderm® products, announced their latest upgrade to the Juvéderm Vollure™ XC product in March 2017. Juvéderm Vollure™ XC is formulated by adding a special proprietary technology called Vycross® to the main ingredient, hyaluronic acid (HA).
Juvéderm Vollure™ XC is a smooth gel that is comprised of hyaluronic acid (HA). HA is a naturally occurring sugar molecule which is found in your body. HA is a lubricating fluid that has a very high capacity to hold water and works to plump skin to support facial structures that have lost volume due to aging. This new Vycross® technology holds HA together acting as a cohesive gel. With the addition of Vycross® technology, Juvéderm Vollure™ XC produces longer lasting results in men and women desiring a non-surgical facial rejuvenation. Riverside Medical Arts team of cosmetic expert injectors are skilled at producing natural-looking results. Juvéderm Vollure™ XC doesn’t prohibit normal facial expressions and movement. Some of the most common side effects reported by Juvéderm Vollure™ XC patients are injection site redness, tenderness, bruising, and itching. Reactions are mild and last 7 days or less.*
